dalawang dosenang taon

Here's my mid-year post! haha... since new year, ngayon lang uli ako magpopost ng blog entry -- sa dami kasi ng nangyayari at sa sobrang gulo ng buhay ko, wala ng time para mag-blog or pinili ko na lang wag magsulat pa. haha! =P

I just turned 24 last May 1st -- dalawang dosenang taon na ko sa mundo: dami na pinagdaanan, dami na nangyari, dami na natutunan, at dami din dahilan kung bakit gusto ko pa mabuhay kahit ilang taon pa. :)

If you'll ask me if I'm happy right now? yup (6 out of 10), quite low but actually higher when the same questioned was asked by my teammate last December). It's a good thing that now I know that I have a lot of reasons to be happy, I just realized some of those and will continue to looj for and appreciate the others... **thanks to mommy Jhia for giving me the 'being happy' book, it's a nice read, hope that it would even help me find happiness and fulfillment in my life.

Maganda naman pasok ng 24th year ko, masaya and sana tuluy-tuloy na... :)

Last Tuesday, I didn't expect it at kung pwd lang sana iwasan -- pero ngstart pa din ang araw ko na nasa call, work pa din kasi may issue and 6AM na kami natapos nina Mark and Espie.

By 12AM, nasa Trellis pa ko kasi despedida ni Vic [sad! :( we'll miss you Vic and thanks for everything!]. Dito na ko naabutan ng bday ko kya nabati na rin ako ng officemates -- Vic, Jonjon, Manuel, Maie, BJ, Ken, Mike, Jan, Paul, Ronnel, Ron, Terence. After, balik ng office at kasama mga teammates, no choice sila kundi batiin ako! haha! -- Espie, Karon, Camille, Airis, Philip, Becca, Mats, Enzo, Patrick.

Just ended my 1st shift in 2007, hehe. I've worked from 6am to 12nn and I must say, hnd sya gnun ka-ok, dami issues! pero ayaw ko sirain araw ko kaya ngiti pa din, bawal magreklamo at magalit, new year eh! at bawal din malungkot... haha :)

Yun lang iba-blog ko actually, greet lang ako ng HAPPY NEW YEAR... pasalamat na din ako sa lahat ng naka-alala nung Christmas and last night, at bumati through text, call or email; really appreciate it, kahit na paminsan minsan na lang e atleast alam ko na buhay pa pala sila at naaalala ako... hehe

Christmas and Yearend Report

CHEERS!!! After 5 months and 12 days, I'm updating my blog now... hehe (someone even asked me few months back, if I still have an intention to update this blog - if none, she'll remove my blog's link in her blog. so, here I am updating my blog; napressure e noh?!)

I don't intend to cite all the things that happened for the past 5 months, it might take you million years reading it... hehe. -- some highlights will do or I'll just give the link of my teammate's blogs. hehe

The year 2006 for me? quite interesting, full of UPs and DOWNs, GOODBYEs and HELLOs
...in general, good ~ k lang, pwede na! hehe. kakapagod at kakastress lang tlga, I've been wanting to have a long vacation para makapagrecharge kahit papaano...

And so, this is Christmas...

Wow! Bilis ng panahon, Christmas na nmn! (actually, 2 days na lang e pasko na tlga!)... pero pero pero nasa Manila pa din ako, in a while, alis na din nmn na ako pero daan pa ng mall kasi wala pa ako nabibili ni-isang gift tlga, grrr! in other words, 'di ako prepared this Christmas! hehehe. kakahiya...

Syempre this season, party dito at party doon!
... we had 2 Christmas parties in HP, 1 for the whole HP and 1 for our bundle... considered ba yung sa sub-team namin?. hmm... Christmas outing ata yun.. hehe

Le Carnivale was the theme for this year's HP Christmas party (clowns, mimes, magicians all over the place), one of the well-organized parties held by HP. It was held in Le Pavilion (Roxas Blvd.) and the food was catered by Hyatt (pero 'di sya masyadong masarap! hehe)... open bar kaya super cool pro 'di ako masyado uminom kasi may work ako ng 5am. sad! --- Highlight of this event? Our team's presentation won!surprisingly e 1st runner up! hehe... congrats!

and how about the BI/DW White Christmas party? it was fun! it has held in Vic's house (thanks Vic, syempre, dun nako natulog... hehe). Cool naman yung party; as usual, dami din food (kaso hindi din masarap.. haha!).... yung beer? di masyado malamig pero ok na din yun...

Highlight? White Christmas costumes!!! for our team, we've chosen white kiddie party... 'di kami nanalo as a team, and 'di din ako nanalo na best in costume! wehehe! 'di ko nadefend title ko pero oks lang, deserving naman yung winner... saka nagpalit na din ako after 30 minutes na suot yung costume ko, hihimatayin na'ko sa sobrang higpit eh.. hehe. pero really appreciate na super game din mga teammates ko, todo prepare, with all the props like party poppers, hats, lollipops, ballooons!!! thanks thanks my dear teammates :)

And finally, we had another CDW B teambuilding last week-- hmm, outing sya bale! hehe. after some weeks of handling 100+ MAP tickets which is really stressful, we've decided to have a break from work kahit 2 days and 2 nights lang... :)

1st stop: tagaytay, the day after our BI/DW White Christmas party, magkakasama na uli kami.... we left Manila around 6pm, dumaan sa ATC to meet Primo and Alvin, then nasa Tagaytay na ng 9pm.. dinner sa Leslie's and coffee sa Starbucks. we've stayed in Vic's place. (yes, kina Vic uli, kulang na lang siguro e ampunin na nya ako!!! haha)... wala masyado activity kasi wala pa si Mats and Primo, kaya kwentuhan, tulog and picture dito, picture doon! ganda eh!





2nd and final stop: san juan, batangas - la luz... grabe ang byahe! kakapagod magdrive! pero ok naman yung place... yun nga lng, wla masyado pwdng gawin pag gabi... good thing, primo brought us a vodka and a wine! kaso bitin, super bitin... activities? serious stuff (take note, stuff at hnd stuffs! hehe) HBDI and Motives Profiler, next exchange gift -- I got another parker pen (thanks Alvin), then Primo and Mats gave their gifts to everyone -- USB light and USB charger; I've given my gift to the team as well - a mug with our team's picture, see sample print below (seryoso ito?!):

other activities? kain, picture sa beach (note: picture lang, di kami nakaligo kasi high tide saka lakas ng alon... baka wala na makabalik at magDM nyan, baka sa Manila bay na din kami aabangan. hehe)

Highlight of this event? sabi nga ni Elvin - 'eto ang peak ng team building! haha! another card game introduced by Primo - RAISE!

SAD part of Christmas? Me and the rest of the team will be working on Christmas and New Year! 9pm-12am ako sa December 24th, laptop ko ang kaharap habang ang lahat e nagno-noche buena... huhuhu. sa New Year, better - atleast 6am to 12nn, after ng mga happenings so OK lang, wlang tulugan! pero tama nga sabi ng karamihan, wala extra pay kahit magwork ka ng holiday... sad at sad tlga!!! worse, wala din ako magawa... new hire pa lang ako, andyan na yung promise na may ilalabas na policy! aba! almost 4 years nako sa company, dami na nadagdag (from 23 to 160+) at dami na rin ngresign pero wala pa din... well, gnun tlga pero sana gawan nila ng paraan bago mahuli ang lahat... hmp!

I need to end this entry now, it's 4pm and need to pack my things and uwi nako, yehey! 1 year din ako hindi nakauwi!!!

Merry Christmas everyone... hope you'll spend this season with your family and friends, yung iba kahit may work, may off naman e, for sure bitin ang bakasyon pero sana ma-enjoy pa din ng lahat...

by the way, salamat ng marami sa mga taong 'di ako nawawala sa Christmas list nila.. naging habit ko na din magpicture ng mga gift na narereceive every Christmas. hehehe. again, thank you! :)

Bora Bora... No Deal!!!

Bora Bora Bora! -- going back to Bora after 2 years, and it was FUN! Spending some time without your worries at work (ooppss, not really! got called thrice during this break. hehehe). Good thing, I don't need to be online to check on the issues (thanks to my beloved teammates)... PLUS the fact that I didn't bring with me my laptop but for emergency purposes, Terence and Mike brought theirs! poor losers!!! hahaha...

I heard Alvin asking some folks earlier if they were able to visit Mhia's blog lately.... out of curiosity, checked it to see the online deal-or-nodeal game! hehe... and sharing my own experience:

I picked suitcase #20 and in the end, I needed to choose between this suitcase and banker's offer of $495,000 considering the fact that the only prizes left in the money board are $300,000 and $1,000,000.

NO DEAL! and ALAS! suitcase#20 contained $300,000 versus $1,000,000 in suitcase#1! (I should have chosen my birthday instead! hahaha) :) SAYANG!!!

Just Another Blog Update

Oh yeah! It’s been a long time since my last blog entry -- 7 weeks to be exact! Actually I don’t have much to discuss since nothing happened on my birthday month --- but yeah, except for the series of unfortunate events!!!

From work, extra-curricular to my personal life, lot of unexpected things happened better yet I should classify them as not-so-good events! I hate it but I just can’t control everything: there are things that even though you’re too much into it or very involved on something – still, it’s not on your hand what would happen next. Sad and depressing indeed but I’m left with no choice than to accept it… Since it already happened and don’t have the chance either to reciprocate what just happened. Although I have accepted it, just can’t get rid of WHAT IF’s and WHY-O-WHY’s in mind… Plus the question: will I ever know the reason why those things happened? Hmmm, not sure either! I just can’t understand why such things would happen when you least expects it, when you’re not yet prepared and when you’re still enjoying what you have…

How to deal with it aside from acceptance? Better be grateful that you were able to have those things at first you never thought you would have – and even if it was just for a short time…

Definitely I really miss the things I used to do, miss the things I used to have, missing the good times I’ve shared with someone and still hoping that sooner or later, everything will be back on what it used to be…

On the lighter side -- last weekend, was able to spend some time ‘fixing’ myself; sobrang napapabayaan ko na daw kasi sarili ko for the past few weeks… naks!!!

last week kasi, i went to office na hindi naka-gel, makapal ang balbas/bigote, super luwang na damit tapos may sipon pa, ubo, mamula-mula ang mata... mukhang adik kung tawagin! hehehe... tapos pagdating ng friday, natuluyan na at nag-sick leave...

Holy Working Week

yeah... I spent holy week here in Manila for the first time! due to some reasons (hmmm?!) but primarily, it's all about my work!!! (what's new?!)... I'm on duty the whole week along with my beloved teammates... atleast, I've been in the metropolis when everyone else is on vacation, the best part of it is that NO bumper-to-bumper scenarios on the road including south expressway (expressway pero grabe nmn ang traffic?!) and ayala ave., sarap magdrive at ambilis makapunta sa pupuntahan!...

but after whole (holy) week of working and working and working, it was sooooo nice that a good soul treated me at The SPA for a massage! well-spent time and really enjoyed it! :) thanks a lot! :) ansaya-saya! :)

grabe panata ko nung good Friday! it was the first time that I joined a procession that lasted for almost 3 hours!!! pero oks lang nmn, it's all about sacrifice to observe the lenten season :)

on Holy Tuesday, got caught by a police at 11pm... take note! di lang huli kundi hinabol ng patrol car along ayala avenue! as usual, ang violation e NO U-TURN and DISOBEDIENCE TO A POLICE OFFICER (damn it!)... they were getting my license and should get it back after paying 2500 pesos and after attending 3-days of seminar. (whatever!)...

after some "negotiations", the policeman accepted the 500 pesos we've been offering him as a suhol (after consultation with his team leader, owwsss?!)... asus! dun din lang kakahantungan e... :)

what I can say to Maie after this incident? - "hindi ka nag-iisa!" same violation and scenario kasi kami: same U-TURN slot (infront of Makati Police Station) and didn't notice that policemen were running after us... haha!

Gina was admitted to one of the hospitals in Dagupan last week due to gastro problems... kawawa nmn... good thing! she's feeling better now after some consultations in St. Luke this week... :)
